How to Use Photon Chat for Unity Lesson 7

In this lesson, we will teach you the concepts of how to send private chat messages across the photon chat network that we have established. We will first teach you how to send private chat messages and then we will teach you how to receive and display other people’s chat messages. To do this there are special functions you must call to send messages and then there are other special callback functions

How to Use Photon Chat for Unity Lesson 5

In this video, we will be going over the concepts behind how to connect to the Photon chat server and as well as how to subscribe to a chat channel. Once connect and subscribe you will then be able to send and receive chat messages. We are for the most part still setting up our chat environment so in the next video will be able to make it work.

How to Use Photon Chat for Unity Lesson 4

For this lesson, we will be going over all the UI objects in Unity that make up our Photon chat system. Our entire chat system is contained under a single root object which is the chat manager. This makes it easy for us to make a prefab out of the whole chat system. The UI object consists of input fields, buttons, text objects, and scroll rests. We need to first have the UI built so we can then create the functionality in the next videos.
